Welcome to the May issue of the Samsung Dealer Partner Newsletter – the newsletter made especially for you. The difficulty in balancing our work and personal lives is a problem all too familiar to residents of the fast-paced modern city. Samsung is, therefore, happy to introduce its latest innovation -- the "Great Work Place" (GWP) project. GWP is not a cutting-edge electronic product, but we believe it is just as innovative because like our products it delivers a better quality of life. GWP will benefit the hardworking staff of Samsung by allowing them to refresh and distress.

The idea of GWP is to promote a healthy work-life balance an enable our people to counter their heavy workloads with more quality fun time. In the process, we hope to strengthen the mutual-trust between our management and staff, and help our people to collaborate better and take more pride and joy in their work. Ultimately, this will improve the cohesion within the company and extend the innovation and creativity we are famous for to our human resource management. The Staff Sports Day organized by Samsung Electronics is a perfect example of of how GWP works. The Staff Sports Day took place on a working weekday, when our staff took a respite from the daily grind, enjoyed healthy activities and spent time with family and friends – a great way to recharge without eating into personal weekend time.

Furthermore, the Samsung group has formed a "Hong Kong Regional Committee" to provide volunteer services to the needy in our society. Through this committee, our staff can take part in community charity services to refresh their minds, give value to their community, and create a truly Great Work Place.
