The class is held at the Samsung Imagine store – a modern and hi-tech venue that's well-equipped and convenient to get to, students can promptly take home their creations to share with loved ones.

The instructor of the class is Nicole, she owns her own cake shop and has years of experience teaching people the art of cake-making. She expresses delight about Samsung's in-store cake-making class: "This class is highly professional, it caters for only 8 students and with the help of my assistant, it means that each student will benefit from some dedicated support – much better than other classes that take on up to 20 students, making it difficult for the instructor to look after each student's needs." As seen on the day, Nicole and her assistant were tending attentively to each student, and all went smoothly even though the majority of them were complete beginners, she also chatted and shared tips with them during break times, it was a truly valuable experience for those who attended.

Nicole insists on simplicity for the cakes she shares in her classes: "It's a headache when there are too many ingredients, how are students supposed to follow a recipe containing 5 or 6 types of wines for example? As long as the result is tasty it doesn't matter if the ingredients are kept at a minimum." And it's true, the cake she shared in this class was made from a simple recipe but tasted divine.

Angel joined the class so that she could create a specially-made cake for her mum as a Mother's Day present. She says that the class gave her a professional yet warm experience "Maybe because there were not a lot of people in the class, so I was able to ask a lot of questions and the environment was friendly. The class went smoothly and was really professional." Angel says she would like to attend the class again in future.
