Final year undergraduate or postgraduate students in Electrical Engineering,
Electronics
Engineering, Computer Science, Physics & Mathematics
Outstanding academic results (top 20%)
Willing to work in the R & D Division of Samsung Electronics in Korea

| Details of Scholarship |
|
100% subsidy of registration / tuition fees
Monthly living allowances of U$700/-
Hostel accommodation and student group medical insurance provided
Round-trip plane ticket between one's mother country to Korea
Scholars will have to reimburse all monthly living allowances if they
are unable to complete
the
course or evaluated during the marketing training program and internship
to be unfit
to
work in Samsung |

| Employment |
|
Internship will be offered at Samsung Electronics
during Summer & Winter Vacation
Scholar will have to sign a two years contract to work in Samsung
Electronics in Korea upon
completion
of the Master/PhD Program.
Accommodation will be provided |

Successful applicants will be admitted in the Seoul National University
either on 1 September
2000
or on 2 March 2001. Prior to commencement of the Master/PhD program,
