Developing Core HR to Lead Digital Era
Mission of Training & Development
SAMSUNG Electronics believes that educating employees is the core of the company's success. Thus, the company invests heavily on employee training and development. With such efforts SAMSUNG plans to secure bright and innovative human resources who will lead the digital era.

In order to become technology- and marketing-oriented company, SAMSUNG is training people to become leaders who will act as agents of change and also has systematic training programs to cultivate experts in marketing and technology.

In order to successfully carry out aforementioned mission, HR departments, training departments and the rest of the organization are working closely to plan and execute the best HR development.

The programs are both developed in-house and outsourced, utilizing local and overseas universities. SAMSUNG also has Local Expert program, which enables employees to better understand the international business environment.
SAMSUNG's training programs are designed to link directly with the company's performance. They are learner-oriented, on-site-oriented and task-oriented. In addition, training departments are divided according to their functions and some of the business sites have their own training programs.
